CATEGORIES & LEVELS
Pole Theatre Greece will have 4 levels
Athletes in the early stages of pole dancing. This level is for participants with basic pole technique who can perform simple inversions and transitions but are not yet consistent with advanced tricks or combinations.
A minimum of three points of contact with the pole is required for all pole tricks.
Basic inverts are permitted, both from the floor and from the pole. Shoulder Mount from the floor is also permitted.
Ayesha, Handspring and other advanced strength-based or extreme flexibility moves are not permitted.
This category is intended for beginner-level athletes and should reflect an appropriate level of technical difficulty.
Athletes with a more developed level of pole technique, strength and control, who are comfortable performing intermediate-level tricks, combinations and dynamic movements.
This category is suitable for athletes who have progressed beyond the beginner level but are not yet performing consistently at an advanced or semi-professional pole level.
Instructors are permitted to compete in this category if they are beginner-level instructors in pole dancing or if their professional teaching experience is in other dance disciplines.
Advanced tricks and combinations are permitted, provided they are appropriate for the athlete's level and performed with control and technical execution.
The Amateur division is for competitors who have not won first place in the Amateur division of a Qualifying Competition.

Semi Pro:
Athletes with advanced technical ability, strength, control and performance quality.
This level is intended for competitors who can consistently perform advanced tricks, combinations, dynamic movements and more demanding transitions with a high level of technical execution.
Competitors should demonstrate both technical difficulty and artistic maturity in their performance.
The Semi Professional division is for competitors who have not won first place in the Semi Professional division of a Qualifying Competition and have not previously competed in the Professional division of a Qualifying Competition.
Professional:
Highly experienced athletes with professional-level technique, strength, flexibility, creativity and stage presence.
This category represents the highest level of technical and artistic performance in the competition. Competitors are expected to demonstrate a high degree of difficulty, strong execution, originality and artistic expression.
This category is suitable for professional performers, instructors and highly experienced athletes.
The Professional division is for competitors who have won first place in the Semi Professional division of a Qualifying Competition or have previously competed in the Professional division.
